FIRE HYDRANTS

As part of a normal road , highway infrastructure or industrial plant ,an instant supply of water is needed by the fire and rescue services to fight fire .StatCon can install a system of underground pipework feeding fire hydrant valves ,this can be fed either by the town main supply or pump and water storage tanks.

GENERAL:

Pillar Hydrants are generally manufactured according to BS EN14384:2005 standard within a strict quality controlled environment to ISO 9001:2008.


There are several models and configurations for the 2-Way and 3-Way pillar hydrant design.


● Model Fig.250 – 100mm x 2-Way with 65mm Male LVT Outlets.
● Model Fig.260 – 100mm x 2-Way with 65mm Oblique Landing Valves.
● Model Fig.270 – 100mm x 2-Way with 2 nos 65mm Oblique Landing Valves.
● Model Fig.280 – 150mm x 3-Way with 2 nos 65mm Male LVT Outlets and 1 no 125mm Male LVT Pumper outlet.
● Model Fig.290 – 150mm x 3-Way with 2 nos 65mm Oblique Landing Valves and 1 no 125mm Male LVT Pumper outlet.

The outlets of the above models can be customized to suit other national standards and customer’s requirement.

DESIGN AND TEST PRESSURES:

Design Pressure: 16 bars

Service Test Pressure: 20 bars

Factory Test Pressure: 25 bars


HYDRANT INLET CONNECTION:

PN16 FF Flange. Other flange connection, eg., ANSI #150 FF etc., available upon request

Flange Inlet Hydrant Valve

StatCon has a range of 65mm “low-pressure” globe pattern hydrant valves with flange inlet connection comes in four different configurations namely, “Oblique”, “Right- Angle”, “Bib-Nose” and “Horizontal” patterns.

The design and construction of the hydrant valves are strictly in accordance with BS5041 : Part 1 : 1987 & generally to BS5154 : 1991 standards. The valves are suitable for both on-shore and off-shore fire protection applications.

High Pressure Regulation Hydrant Valve

StatCon has a range of 65mm diameter Gunmetal high-pressure “Bib-Nose” pattern regulating hydrant valve is field adjustable which allows the user to set the valve outlet pressure as desired according to the conditions of the fire protection system in which the valves are installed. The valve comes with screw or flange inlet connections.

The design and construction of the hydrant valve are strictly in accordance with BS5041 : Part 1 : 1987 and generally to BS5154 : 1991 standards. It is suitable for connection to a high pressure water supply of up to 21 bars (300 PSI) and provide a constant reduced outlet pressure which can be set in-situ during testing and commissioning of the fire protection system
